May 18–The start of a long weekend (in Toronto, too)

Fewer folk at the gym this morning so figured people had headed off for a long weekend, yesterday being a holiday.

Clearly not so. The buses were packed, the excellent Berthe Morisot show at Musee Marmottan Monet,, was beyond packed and the streets around St. Germain des Pres are teeming. Oh, well, good for the economy here.

Lunch at Philou, although a bit of a trek, was all the hype and more, a real find and a real keeper. Another excellent place along the Canal in the 10th arr.

Spent the evening walking around, enjoying ourselves.
