More Marrakech

Feeling F A T as usual, went to the gym and ran 5km.

Caught the family law portion of the Advocates’ Society program, including Cherie Blair, but missed the presentation of the carpet to Sandy by the Marrakech batonnier. How to get it home now unless it’s of the flying variety?

Stayed around the gorgeous compound after lunch and then went with a group to Le Foundouk,, a restaurant converted from an old Moroccan home/artisan’s quarters where we mostly had tagine. (The foundouks are really rooms around a large courtyard. The living quarters are upstairs and the artisans’ studios on the ground floor. They had space in the back to stable the camels.)

Watched a few minutes of the British election results and called it a night.
