May 14–C’est lundi

It’s a beautiful day here as you can see from the photos so after lunch, we went for a long “impressionist” walk starting at Passy cemetary. (You can’t really be in Paris without going to a cemetary, I think.) From there we walked to Concorde, stopped for a hot chocolate and then onto Les Halles. At J.P. Hevin, 231 rue. St. Honore, the chocolat chaud wasn’t anything near what my article (http://parisbymouth.com/five-great-for-hot-chocolate) cracked it up to be; too thin, not flavourful enough. Frankly, it was nowhere near Angelina’s which only got honourable mention and shockingly didn’t make the top 5! Two more to go.

After some work and a rest, we went back to Frenchie tonight and had another deligthful, if late, dinner.
