London was surprisingly cold and rainy on the Sunday morning after our arrival.

We went to Scott’s, www.scotts-restaurant.com, for some excellent fish and mediocre service, after which, it being cold, we grabbed a hot chocolate at Maison de Chocolat (London branch) as we happened to pass by.

We spent the afternoon at the National Portrait Gallery, www.npg.org.uk, one of our faves.

Dinner with a friend in Chelsea at La Poule au Pot, 231 Ebury Street, a charming French place with very romantic decor, the back to Holland Park for the night.

Have had computer problems all week, very aggravating. Had to rely on my Blackberry which, while fine, still didn’t enable me to do all I had to do.
