I was thinking on the way back from the March\u00e9 Bio, after the gym, how it’s clear that the Parisians are really tied to their local\u00a0quartier<\/em>. Even though the market is near our old apartment, not the new one, it felt a little weird being back in that area, as if we should have found whatever we need near here (carrefour<\/em>\u00a0Od\u00e9on) instead of blvd Raspail.<\/p>\n Worked.<\/p>\n Anna wanted to spend some time in the Marais, so we met them for\u00a0lunch at Caf\u00e9 des Mus\u00e9es. (Greg, thanks for the suggestion.) Beats Ma Bourgogne on Place des Vosges although you wouldn’t know it by the populace thronging in each place.<\/p>\n It’s hugely populated here at the moment, mainly in the usual areas: the Marais (where they close streets on Sundays), Montmartre, the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es,\u00a0Beaubourg\u00a0and around here. And it’s also 27 degrees Celsius today to boot.<\/p>\n I\u00a0went on a late afternoon odessey in the 20th arr.<\/p>\n Afterwards, we had a very pleasant dinner at\u00a0some friends’ home (no photos) and called it a night.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
