Went to the gym, now a Metro ride away. Back home, Sandy climbed the stairs, I took the elevator. Must be a moral in there somewhere, maybe in relation to the F A T factor?<\/p>\n
Working through an article on C\u00e9cile de France in T\u00e9l\u00e9rama. The articles in Figaroscope and like magazines, I find useful for colloquial expressions, etc., but they still take time to try to get the\u00a0meaning right. Hard slogging.<\/p>\n
Had some waterpipe issues in the apartment which caused a delay in getting going so I took Maura and Bill over to the Raspail “Bio” March\u00e9.<\/p>\n
Walked around the Ch\u00e2telet area, past the Pompidou Centre to the Arts & M\u00e9tiers M\u00e9tro, then flipped over to the Marais to have an “Ace” Falafel\/Shwarma with Maura and Bill. After a quick walk around the Marais, they went to the Rodin museum and we came home for\u00a0une petite pause<\/em>.<\/p>\n Dinner at Chez L’Ami Louis was, as usual, too much fun. (“Ain’t No Such Thing as Too Much Fun,” Bill Kirchen)<\/p>\n And, Shannon, the snails (escargots<\/em>) were delicious.<\/p>\n Not to mention,\u00a0finalement<\/em>, they had\u00a0fraises des bois<\/em>! (With\u00a0cr\u00e8me fr\u00e2iche<\/em>, no less.)<\/p>\n\n\t\t
