Have my energy back.<\/p>\n<p>After French (we are studying employment situations:\u00a0<em>par example, un chasseur de t\u00eates\u00a0<\/em>is a headhunter;\u00a0<em>qui savait<\/em>?), having passed by it daily, we thought we should head to the Mus\u00e9e Luxembourg near here and see the Filippo and Filippino Lippi show, their period being roughly the beginning of Renaissance art in Italy. Well that we did as neither of us knew very much about\u00a0Renaissance art or their work\u00a0and this show was particularly illuminating, so to speak, about the transition from medieval to the Renaissance in terms of adding emotional layers\u00a0and perspective to the religion-based works\u00a0of the period.<\/p>\n<p>We then headed to Salle Pleyel supposedly for a good\u00a0hamburger at the Caf\u00e9 but\u00a0<em>non en plus<\/em>.\u00a0Insead, we had some oysters at the corner resto\u00a0and saw\u00a0and a\u00a0concert by Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Myung-Whu Chung conducting, featuring\u00a0the excellent\u00a0cellist, Mischa Maisky and a rousing program of Berlioz, Saint-Sa\u00ebns and Moussorsky.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was flagging a bit for a day or so last week.
